Darn, you're right. The Onyx-i Series stops at 16 channels. I guess =
they'd have a hard time putting 24 channels on FireWire anyway (not =
impossible, but not common in a single device).

I see way more people using the 1640i - I don't think I've seen the 24.4 =
out.
