I finally picked up Cathars' Amorpheus cd on Miau Miau International, and i have to admit that this is the type of relaxed electronic debris my ears need to hear more of. A peculiar mix between Twine, Oval, and Pansonic, but veering in a completely isolated section of experimentalism. Abstract, yet full of ambient undertones and strange beeps and whirls with subtle cd-skipping here and there. Cathars' atmospheric musical direction will put your mind at ease, while Amorpheus feels like a soothing brain massage. Excellent reading music by the way.. Is there anything else along these lines that i should look into? Lance, i know you're there! Perhaps their website would be a start.. There's an extra fourteen and a half minutes on this cd that follows track ten. I'm assuming every release contains this (bonus?) track.
