I've spent the last six months researching Eurorack modulars  
(Doepfer, Analogue Solutions, Analogue Systems, Livewire, Plan B,  
Harvestman, Cwejman etc.. etc.. etc..)

They all have interesting products. I'll likely end up with a mix of  
VCOs and Filters but I think the basis of my system, i.e. the  
utilitarian stuff will be Plan B modules.
 From a control point of view Doepfer modules seem very lacking in  
control and flexibility and seem to take up a lot of space for what  
you get.
