The last A. Sys rack I saw had daisy chained grounds as well.

The Plan B system is addressing this. There will be only one
bussboard, but every other connector is offset, so it creates two
rows which overlap. One is marked 'AUDIO" and the other 'CONTROL'.
It'll be up to the user to keep this discipline, but it is in his/her
best interest to do so. Not only are there separate ground lines
from each connector leading to the power mains on each row of
connectors, but each of those rails will have it's own power
regulators so the audio and control modules will have separate power
systems....per bussboard. This serves two purposes: cuts down noise-
related voodoo and lessens the potential of running out of juice
within a rack. These bussboards however will not be compatible with
Doepfer and A. Sys PSUs because our power distribution will be coming
the bridge rectifiers, not the regulated secondary outputs. Those
are on each bussboard.
