RE: [AH] Doepfer a-112 MIDI Dump?

Hello,
Why shouldn't it work?
If it is connected to midi ports (no matter where they are located), it
will work. Midi is midi.
Best regards, :-)
Bakis.

Subject: [AH] Doepfer a-112 MIDI Dump?

I sent this to the Doepfer list but I'm hoping I can get some help
from
you guys too.

I read through the directions on the a-112 sample dump program. It
says
you need to have MIDI In/Out, going from your PC to the a-112. I have an
Intel MacBook(Laptop), that runs Windows XP flawlessly using a program
called Parallels Desktop. I have a MOTU MIDI Express Interface. It
connects
to the computer via USB. Will this work? Will the a-112 communicate
through
a MIDI interface or does it have to be plugged directly into the MIDI
ports
on a PC Soundcard? Excuse me, I know next to nothing about Windows
computers. Also please excuse the computer talk. In this case it's just
a
means to an end. :)

    Regards,
    John Langdon
