Re: Fluoroscopic Kid -- on Sonic Therapy Perhaps my mind is a little jaded today, has the topic for Sonic Therapy's 12" remix project come up on this list yet? This release contains remix's by Emanate's if.then.else (distorto-techno/ambient), Reckan's Hrvatski (strange/quirky drum'n bass effects), Miau Miau's Cathars (oval/pole/pansonic'ish) Components' Codec (electro dub beats), and the original track "Soft Drink Jihad" as an opener. I think it's an unbelievable mix of talent. All these nice sounds exiting the grooves of this record make me squirm. It's just too bad Mad Monkey didn't make the cut, as his stuff under the Army of 23 Monkey's (or was it Mad Monkey Consortium) combined instrumental chaos, with lots of abstract electronics, much in the same vein as Cathars, with a little more noise. Check out Sonic Therapy for yourself, run by Andrew Hime for more... www.sonictherapy.com Pietro. _____________________________________ Pietro Da Sacco, m b m @ n e t c o r e . c a ::: Grooves Magazine ::: ::: Experimental Electronica in Words ::: http://www.rain.org/~audio/grooves/ ::: Insound.com Zinestand ::: http://www.insound.com/zinestand/grooves/
