hi all. i asked the folks at doepfer about building my own case, and blah
blah, and this bit of info was included in the reply:

"I have to point out that you have to be familiar with electroncis as the
power supplies have to be connected to mains voltage (230V or 115V AC !!!).
It is extremely dangerous to perform this if you are not familiar with such
things.

sorry to be retarded, but what exactly does he mean?
i have connected many power supplies to a 115V current by doing the
following:
plug one end of cable into machine-plug other end into wall. :)

but that's it as far as my CURRENT (ha- get it- current!) experience with
this sort of thing goes...

perhaps i should just get a premade doepfer case/power combo?
