its all personal taste...

the wasp filter does not seem anything special to me, i much prefer the A108 
(which is an advanced ladder design - 8 pole slope), the A106 which is an 
enhanded and more dirty version of the ms20 filter, and the smooth A101-1 
vactrol filter.

the (Doepfer-designed) A143-1 Quad ad/lfo is one of my favourites cv 
sources. with its polarizing mixer and comparators you can achive many 
rhythmic stuff and cycling envelopes, etc... this is a great value module 
that can do many things in a modular.
