I've come to realize that I just love patching stuff, and CV in general is
super cool. Like I've said, I just recently started messing with it, but I
was playing around with my Moisturizer, Koma BD-101 and Sherman Filterbank
2 and going crazy and thought it was super fun. I currently really enjoy
the monos that I have, and I think they all offer great bang for the buck.
If I were to keep only one, it would be the Bass Station II even though it
has no CV i/o just due to its overall sound and features. I'd like a fairly
small modular system primarily as a really fucked-up FX processor and
rhythmic sound generator, working alongside drum machines. However, since I
know jack squat about modulars, it will take me quite some time to learn
first what I need, and then what it is I actually want. Out of all of the
modular stuff I've seen, the most appealing to me is Intellijel, MakeNoise,
Harvestman, Cwejman, and Verbos Electronics.
